EXP is looking for a skilled Electrical Designer to bolster our Mechanical/Electrical Buildings team in Hamilton, ON. Utilize your expertise to create critical design packages and collaborate effectively with senior engineers.
As an Electrical Designer at EXP, you will work under the guidance of seasoned professionals, producing schematic diagrams, equipment layouts, and concept reports. This role requires 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in buildings consulting engineering. Your proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD will be invaluable in your efforts to contribute to high-quality electrical designs for diverse systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop design packages including diagrams, plans, and layouts
• Prepare reports and documentation under supervision
• Conduct site surveys for accurate assessments
• Perform electrical calculations as needed
• Attend site meetings during construction phases
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
• Proficient in Revit MEP and desired AutoCAD skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience in power distribution and low voltage systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior staff
