We are looking for an Intermediate Roadway Designer with a strong foundation in roadway design, including highways and local roads, for our Ontario offices in Brampton, Markham, London, or Hamilton. Your focus will be on preparing detailed design reports, mentoring junior staff, and liaising with clients and contractors. Expect to engage with design processes from preliminary to final drawing stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise preliminary design reports for roadways

• Create detailed designs and contract specifications

• Review CADD staff outputs for quality assurance

• Coordinate project efforts and mentor junior engineers

• Assist in the preparation of future project proposals

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of relevant design experience

• Expertise in Micro Station, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD

• Familiarity with MTO and Metrolinx standards

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
