Project Designer for Traffic Systems

Shape municipal road projects as a Project Designer/Manager specializing in traffic signalization and lighting systems. Collaborate with stakeholders and oversee project details from design to implementation.

This role involves working under the Principal Engineer while managing design projects for municipal and provincial roads. You'll be responsible for inspection, communication with stakeholders, and maintaining vital project information. Your expertise will ensure compliance with specifications while mentoring Engineering Technologists/Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design traffic signalization and street lighting systems

• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders

• Manage project budget, schedules, and deliveries

• Mentor Engineering Technologists/Technicians

• Inspect job sites for compliance with project specs

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering

• E.I.T. designation required

• Traffic signal experience is mandatory

• Proficient in Autocad and Micro Station

• Strong communication skills in written and oral English
