Engineering Role in Reliability Enhancement

Drive reliability and safety as a Reliability Engineer at Maple Leaf Foods, utilizing engineering principles to enhance manufacturing equipment and processes through a LEAN approach.
This engineering position aims to develop efficiency in operations while reporting directly to the Reliability Manager. A background of 3-5 years in a food production environment is preferred. Focus on validating processes, overseeing equipment upgrades, and engaging in continuous improvement projects that support safety and efficiency goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in manufacturing improvement projects

• Review equipment designs and oversee commissioning

• Validate and standardize processes with the team

• Apply Six Sigma for process enhancements

• Manage preventive maintenance activities
Requirements:

• Engineering degree or Engineering Technologist Diploma

• 3-5 years experience in engineering roles

• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD tools

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with Lean practices
