Electrical Control Designer at GEI

Become an Electrical Control Designer with GEI Consultants in Stoney Creek, Ontario. This role involves designing electrical and control systems for infrastructure and industrial projects, ensuring high standards and regulations are met.

In this position, you will support electrical systems' planning and design, collaborating with engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Key tasks include preparing detailed technical drawings while also assisting in PLC and SCADA system documentation. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical designs for various facilities

• Develop control schematics and wiring diagrams

• Assist in documentation for PLC and SCADA systems

• Perform calculations for power distribution and load

• Support site visits and construction reviews

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology

• 5+ years in electrical/control system design

• Proficient in AutoCAD (3+ years)

• Knowledge of industrial control systems and instrumentation

• Strong communication and coordination skills
