Gaming Machine Attendant | Part-time | Sky City Hamilton

As a Gaming Machine Attendant - Premier Host , you’ll deliver high‑quality gaming services while ensuring the security and integrity of gaming machine operations. This is a frontline role where customer experience, attention to detail and responsible hosting are at the heart of everything you do.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering friendly, professional and informative service to gaming customers
Assisting guests with gaming machine enquiries, payouts and “how to play” explanations
Accurately handling cash transactions, payouts and required documentation
Supporting machine operations, including fills and minor maintenance – full training will be provided
Promoting responsible gaming and alcohol consumption in line with host responsibility standards
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a strong customer focus and a calm, professional approach in a fast‑paced environment.
You’ll also have:
Experience in a customer service role
Strong communication skills and a respectful, approachable manner
Confidence handling cash and completing paperwork accurately
A Certificate of Approval (CoA), or the ability to successfully obtain one with a clear criminal history
In this role, you contribute directly to:
Creating enjoyable and safe gaming experiences for our customers
Maintaining the integrity, compliance and smooth operation of gaming machine services
Strengthening customer loyalty through positive interactions and repeat visitation
