Take the lead in asset management with the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc as a dedicated Asset Management Analyst. Collaborate across departments to ensure effective governance and long-term planning in a community-focused setting.
This key role, reporting to the Manager of Accounting / Deputy Treasurer, is responsible for the Municipality's Tangible Capital Asset (TCA) systems. Your work will involve maintaining compliance with Ontario regulations while promoting best practices within asset management procedures and practices. Additionally, you will support strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee asset management information flow organization
• Coordinate municipal asset inventory collection and maintenance
• Implement best practices for asset lifecycle management
• Advise on municipal policies related to asset management
• Prepare reports and presentations for Council meetings
Requirements:
• Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration or similar
• Three years of experience in municipal Asset Management
• Knowledge of PSAB standards and municipal regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have valid Ontario Driver’s License
Contribute to asset sustainability and enhance community resources for residents of Strathroy-Caradoc.
