City of Hamilton Tobacco Control seeks a Tobacco Enforcement Officer to enforce the Smoke-Free Ontario Act and City by-laws, conducting inspections at public places and workplaces, gathering evidence, and coordinating with health and law enforcement partners.
You will issue certificates of offence, collect statements, maintain records in the Tobacco Inspection System, attend meetings, stay current on tobacco control practices, and prepare periodic reports for the department.
