The City of Hamilton is seeking a Municipal Prosecutor to conduct prosecutions and appeals in the Ontario Court of Justice, under provincial statutes and municipal by-laws. You will provide guidance to enforcement officers and collaborate with attorneys in accordance with POA standards.
Responsibilities include evaluating charges, preparing witnesses, negotiating settlements, and presenting complex submissions. Travel within the city and surrounding areas may be required.
