City of Hamilton is seeking a Senior Plans Examiner to review and approve plans for Part 9 buildings under the Ontario Building Code. You will issue permits, assess drawings for compliance, and coordinate with inspectors and other agencies.
The role requires in‑depth knowledge of the Building Code, strong problem solving, and the ability to train staff. This is a temporary 18‑month assignment with opportunities for professional contribution.
