About VAC-EDVAC-ED is an expansion of Vets Around the Corner, a nationally recognized, privately owned, family-operated veterinary organization located in beautiful downtown Port Perry. Our mission is simple: when our people thrive, our patients and community do too.
We’re known for innovation, collaboration, and breaking barriers to care — including community outreach initiatives, a dedicated veterinary ambulance, and partnerships that extend veterinary medicine beyond clinic walls.
The RoleWe are seeking Emergency Veterinarians (DVMs) to join our founding emergency team as we launch this exciting new chapter.
Scheduled hours will include:
- Overnights Monday–Friday
- 24-hour coverage on weekends
- Rotating shifts

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Licensed with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO) or eligible for licensure
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Strong emergency medicine skills or a desire to grow in emergency practice
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptable, solution-focused, and comfortable in a dynamic environment
- A genuine desire to be part of something new, innovative, and meaningful
