This is a part-time
, on-site role for an Independent Contractor of Optometry, located in the GTA area. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and managing eye conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and offering personalized vision care plans. The role also involves educating patients on eye care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and keeping accurate patient records.

• The Optometrist is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario and is duly registered and qualified to provide optometry services
• Expertise in diagnosing eye conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and performing comprehensive eye exams
• Knowledge of ocular anatomy, visual optics, and ocular disease management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on advancements in optometry
• Experience working in clinical or retail optometry settings is an asset
