Child & Youth Play​/Music Therapist

Embrace a fulfilling career as a Child & Youth Therapist with BeWell Health Centres, focusing on play, music, or art therapy. Help youth aged 4–18 navigate emotional and behavioral hurdles through innovative therapy techniques.

In this role, you will provide compassionate support while working collaboratively with parents and caregivers. Your expertise will guide children through anxiety, trauma, and other developmental challenges using creative methodologies. Part-time on-site work in our Hamilton or Mississauga clinics is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use play, art, or music therapy in sessions

• Develop custom therapeutic strategies for individuals

• Involve caregivers in the therapeutic process

• Maintain a commitment to client-centered excellence

• Participate in ongoing education and quality enhancement

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Psychology or similar

• Registration with CRPO or OCSWSSW required

• Certification in creative therapy modalities

• Ability to work min. 3-4 days weekly

• Strong adaptability and communication abilities
