In the Laundry Aide role, you will handle a variety of laundry duties aimed at meeting our residents' needs at Queens Garden. Your skills in managing washing, drying, and sorting laundry will contribute to a safe and pleasant environment. You'll also ensure proper identification and care of personal clothing items.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and manage items designated for laundering
• Use automated equipment for washing and drying tasks
• Iron and fold clothing items meticulously
• Carry out simple repairs and mending when required
• Clean your work area and manage necessary supply levels
Requirements:
• Previous laundry experience is an asset
• Basic knowledge of laundry techniques and practices
• Grade 12 diploma is preferred
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following directions
