• Position Summary As an Occupational Therapist , you’ll play a vital role in helping clients achieve and maintain their highest level of functional independence.

You’ll assess, plan, and implement personalized rehabilitation programs, working closely with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and meaningful care.

This role is ideal for a compassionate, innovative, and collaborative professional who thrives in a dynamic home and community care setting.

• Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Conduct holistic assessments of cognitive, physical, perceptual, and emotional function
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Educate clients and caregivers on therapy goals, exercises, and adaptive equipment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning and care coordination
  • Supervise OTA/PTA staff and mentor students as needed
  • Support clients with complex medical conditions in their homes
• Safety & Quality:
  • Follow infection control protocols and ensure safe use of equipment
  • Promote client safety and participate in safety audits and initiatives
  • Maintain clean and organized therapy spaces
• Administrative & Program Support:
  • Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
  • Assist with scheduling, referrals, and program development
  • Participate in quality improvement and professional development initiatives
• What You Bring:
  • Education & Credentials:
    Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s preferred)
  • Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
  • Current BCLS/HCP certification
• Experience:
  • 1–3 years of clinical experience (required)
  • Experience with complex medical conditions and mobility support (required)
  • Home and community care experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with mobile work tools and EMR systems
