Working in their small internal IT department, you’ll be using leading-edge technologies to develop a variety of analytics, reporting and other business applications.

Please note that this company is located in the new city of Hamilton and is not readily accessible by public transportation – you will need a reliable car!
Responsibilities
Architecture of solutions for our client's internal customers in Sales and Marketing, Finance, Operations and Human Resources
Develop, test and implement solutions using a variety of Microsoft products including Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005, SharePoint and Info Path
Participate in global redevelopment of our client's website and subsequent redevelopment of their Canadian website
Development of handheld solutions for our employees out in the field
SharePoint Portal Server intranet website maintenance and customization
Document new and existing systems
Analyze day to day technical challenges and present timely solutions
Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have 3 years of practical development experience
Applicants must have solid experience and knowledge of development software, including Visual
Experience with ASP.NET, C# or and the .NET Framework class libraries
Experience and knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005 with at least a conceptual understanding of Analysis Services, Data Warehousing, and Data Transformation Services
Experience in testing and production delivery
Experienced in functional and technical specification development
Team player
A strong command of written and oral English is a must
Nice to haves (optional)
ASP, PHP and web design
Visio, EDI, Navision, MS Project, knowledge of finance/accounting
Experienced with the tools and techniques of system integration (MSMQ, XML, Web Services, flat files etc…)
Experience with SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and Info Path
Certifications
Education
University Degree preferred or
College Diploma (Computer Programmer/Analyst)
Or equivalent experience
