Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Systems Administrator to join our growing organization. This role is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing our IT infrastructure while contributing to strategic technology initiatives and digital transformation projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise across Microsoft 365, systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, virtualization, and end‑user support. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our technology environment while acting as an escalation resource for complex technical issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Entra  (Azure AD)

Manage and maintain server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, backups, and endpoint systems

Monitor system health, performance, availability, and security across the organization

Act as an escalation point for advanced technical issues and operational support requests

Support infrastructure and cloud‑related projects including migrations, deployments, and environment optimization

Assist with cybersecurity initiatives including endpoint protection, vulnerability management, MFA, conditional access, and security monitoring

Administer user accounts, permissions, licensing, and access controls

Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and disaster recovery processes

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless IT operations

Support VoIP and collaboration technologies including Microsoft Teams Phone and conferencing systems

Participate in after‑hours maintenance and occasional on‑call support as required

Qualifications and Skills:

Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands‑on experience in IT Systems Administration or Infrastructure Support

Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 environments

Experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory

Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Hyper‑V, VMware, or Proxmox

Experience with networking concepts including routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall management

Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft certifications such as:

-Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert
-Azure Administrator Associate

-Security Administrator Associate

Experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, Purview, and endpoint management

Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices

Experience in healthcare or regulated environments with knowledge of PHIPA compliance

Familiarity with scripting and automation using Power Shell

Experience supporting VoIP Telephony Systems

Basic understanding of web technologies and integrations

Experience with monitoring and RMM platforms
