Drive successful BOM management as the Governance & Process Lead at Gay Lea Foods in Hamilton, ON. Oversee the entire BOM lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance within cross-functional teams.
As the BOM Governance & Process Lead, you will play a crucial role within the Research & Development department. You will manage the end-to-end BOM lifecycle, focusing on accuracy, stable processes, and data integrity. This leadership position requires strong process governance, coordination with multiple teams, and a commitment to excellence in BOM handling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as gatekeeper for BOM creation and updates
• Ensure compliance with documentation and workflow standards
• Drive BOM request intake and prioritization
• Manage revision control and quality checks
• Maintain visibility of BOM status across stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in food science or related field
• 8-10 years in process manufacturing, ideally food/dairy
• Experience with BOM and product data management
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably D365
