System Administrator

Position: Full-Time System Administrator
Advance your career as a System Administrator 1 at Hamilton Health Sciences, overseeing end-to-end server management in a dynamic enterprise setting. This full-time role requires expertise in server administration and cloud services.

As System Administrator 1, you will manage Windows and Linux servers across various environments, ensuring the integrity and performance of business-critical applications. Your responsibilities will include VMware administration and Citrix services, while performing thorough troubleshooting. Expect to work regular hours with some on-call support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage systems lifecycle in physical and virtual environments

• Administer Office 365 user and security settings

• Troubleshoot server issues and conduct root-cause analysis

• Configure, patch, and maintain server integrity

• Ensure compliance with performance and security requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science

• Minimum 5 years of technology and server administration

• 2 years of Office 365 and VMware experience required

• Preferred experience with Citrix Xen App

• Time and project management experience a plus
