Position Overview:

The Technical Services Specialist - Bilingual provides technical expertise, deployment support, and operational guidance for retail systems IT equipment within customer environments. This role requires strong hands-on installation experience, technical documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, customers, and field technicians to ensure successful staging, testing, and deployment of retail technology solutions.e are a human-centered culture where we prioritize your well-being and are invested in helping you reach your fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as technical resource for retail IT equipment including POS systems, handheld devices, scanners, printers, networking hardware, back-office systems, workstations, and related peripherals.

Develop and maintain a strong understanding of retail systems IT equipment configurations, standards, and customer environment requirements.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, connectivity, configuration, and system issues affecting retail store operations.

Coordinate with Compugen Integration Center teams to execute first article equipment staging, validation, and readiness activities.

Partner with customer engineering teams to complete onsite Alpha and Beta installations, testing, and pilot programs for new devices, software, and store technology solutions.

Create and maintain clear, professional technical installation documentation, staging procedures, equipment standards, and image/version records.

Generate accurate systems IT equipment pick lists for MAC (Move/Add/Change), project rollouts, refreshes, and new store deployments.

Provide remote and onsite technical support to field technicians during installation and deployment activities.

Provide training, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to technicians, support teams, and field resources.

Ensure all installations and deployments are completed in accordance with technical standards, timelines, and customer expectations.

Identify opportunities to improve deployment processes, quality, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills &

Qualification:

Proven experience installing IT equipment in retail or multi-site customer environments.

Solid understanding of structured cabling principles and data rack management best practices.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, cabling, and deployment-related issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal teams, customers, and external partners.

Strong technical writing skills with the ability to create polished, professional installation documentation.
