We are looking for a Junior Microsoft 365 Administrator to support the day‑to‑day operations of an enterprise Microsoft 365 environment. This role is ideal for someone building a career in Microsoft cloud services and managed IT operations
, working under the guidance of senior engineers within a structured, ITIL‑based support model.
You will assist with administration, monitoring, and service requests across core Microsoft 365 services while gaining hands‑on experience in a large, regulated enterprise environment.
What You’ll Do- Provide front‑line operational support for Microsoft 365 services, including:
- Exchange Online
- SharePoint Online
- One Drive for Business
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft 365 Office applications
- Perform user administration tasks such as:
- License assignment
- Group and access updates
- Account changes following approved requests
- Support incident triage and troubleshooting under senior engineer guidance.
- Monitor Microsoft 365 service health dashboards and report alerts or issues.
- Assist with Microsoft Teams and collaboration administration in line with governance standards.
- Support basic email security tasks within Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
- Assist with Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) user support and troubleshooting.
- Process standard service requests accurately and within defined procedures.
- Maintain clear documentation of work performed in ticketing and service management systems.
- Follow change, incident, and service request processes consistently.
- 1–3 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 or Office 365 in an IT environment.
- Basic hands‑on experience with:
- Exchange Online
- Teams
- SharePoint Online or One Drive
- Understanding of common IT support concepts (incidents, service requests, escalation).
- Interest in Microsoft cloud services and learning enterprise‑scale environments.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow documented procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and elevate issues when needed.
- Entry‑level Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS‑900, AZ‑900, or similar)
- Experience working in a service desk or managed services environment
- Exposure to ITIL concepts or ticketing tools
- Basic familiarity with security concepts such as MFA or email filtering
- This role follows a hybrid work model in Ontario
