Elevate KPMG New Zealand's security capability as the Head of Security. You'll drive cyber security strategies and protect vital digital assets in this pivotal role.

As Head of Security, you will lead KPMG New Zealand’s efforts to ensure robust information protection and compliance. With over 5 years of IT security management experience, your role focuses on vulnerability assessments, risk management, and developing a high-performing cyber security team. You will also influence enterprise-level strategic decisions to enhance security maturity and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape and lead KPMG’s cyber security strategy

• Drive strong security operations and incident response

• Provide governance and oversight for security programs

• Embed security across technology and business processes

• Deliver expert advice for continuous security improvement

Requirements:

• 5+ years in IT security management

• Broad knowledge of security operations and compliance

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure)

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (CISSP, CISM preferred)

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
