Business Application Analyst at City

Become a vital part of the City of Hamilton as a Business Application Analyst. This pivotal role involves managing ERP systems and providing essential support to internal users and various departments across the city.

You will report directly to the Manager of Business Applications, focusing on maintaining the security of ERP systems and AP Automation. Key responsibilities include workflow administration, implementation assistance for new modules, and conducting fit/gap analyses. You will collaborate with departments like Public Works, Police, and Transit, ensuring systems meet varied needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain security in ERP and AP Automation systems

• Assist in new module implementations and enhancements

• Conduct fit/gap analyses for online applications

• Liaise with departments to understand their varied needs

• Support training programs for users across different roles

Requirements:

• University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science

• Experience in Financial Services, preferably municipal

• Familiarity with ERP, payroll, and budgeting systems

• Proficiency in relational databases and web technologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
