Responsibilities
  • Building and growing your portfolio by generating leads, leveraging referrals, and building long-term client relationships.
  • Consulting with clients to understand their unique needs and recommend coverage solutions in both personal and commercial lines.
  • Negotiate with multiple insurers to secure the best possible options for clients.
  • Guide clients through onboarding, renewals, and changes, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.
  • Use BIG’s technology and CRM systems to manage your pipeline, track results, and scale your business.
  • Stay sharp by keeping up with industry trends, underwriting changes, and emerging risks.
Qualifications
  • RIBO license in good standing (or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, ideally in insurance or financial services (open to other sales-related prior employment).
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting, and compliance.
  • Experience generating leads, building referral networks, or acquiring new clients.
  • Comfortable using digital tools, CRM systems, and policy management software.
Assets
  • Post-secondary education in insurance, business, or a related field.
  • Experience across both Personal and Commercial Lines.
