Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Underwriter to build lasting relationships with transportation brokers while managing new and renewal commercial auto business. This position emphasizes analytical skills, pricing strategy, and service collaboration to maintain a profitable portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Underwrite new and renewal commercial automotive business
• Build relationships with transportation brokers for effective cooperation
• Analyze risk, pricing, and coverage for profitability
• Collaborate with teams to ensure top-notch service
• Support broker training and underwriting initiatives
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year in Commercial Automobile underwriting
• CIP designation or actively pursuing it
• Knowledge of trucking and transportation risks is beneficial
• Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities
