About the RoleThe Service Operations Support function serves as a strategic liaison between Planning, Procurement, Quality, and the Service Operations Team. This position will have a primary focus on coordinating dispositioning activities, working alongside the Material Review Board (MRB), and translating operational data into monthly metrics. The role will also assist in material availability and parts shortages globally. We are seeking a results‑driven problem solver who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and possesses technical skills that leverage data analytics.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Execute the disposition process for parts
- Facilitate the execution of Modification Kits and Technical Information Bulletins
- Work alongside the Don Mills facility to schedule and prioritize repair activity, ensuring optimal throughput
- Collaborate with Procurement to manage Return to Vendor processing
- As required, support factory operations on Waterdown Service floor
- Work closely with Quality to support containment actions as required
- Liaise with the Materials Review Board for all Service parts
- Evaluate material availability and provide strategic support for projects
- Generate and analyze monthly metrics
- Produce and act upon reports in a timely manner
- Provide administrative support to WASC’s that are not currently in the ERP system
- Demonstrates competency using ERP systems to manage operational data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
- Highly energized, results‑oriented problem solver willing to resolve complex challenges
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to uphold exceptional performance standards during significant changes
- Committed to a high degree of organization and precision within all tasks assigned
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team workplace
Education and Experience s
- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary education program in a related field
- Experience or interest in Materials Management, Customer Service, and Operations
- Has obtained or is working towards APICS Certification (or equivalent) – bonus
Pay Range: $28.85 to $38.50/hr (province of Ontario, Canada)
