Laboratory Sample Handler at Paracel

Paracel Laboratories is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Sample Custodian to efficiently oversee sample integrity and client interactions at our Hamilton location. This full-time position involves key operational duties.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Sample Management group, becoming the go-to person for client inquiries and sample lifecycle management. You will engage in essential tasks such as inspecting samples, managing lab communication, and utilizing LIMS for efficient tracking. An organized approach to workflows and strong communication skills are crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify samples upon arrival

• Assist clients and direct inquiries promptly

• Utilize LIMS for uploading and tracking samples

• Prepare and inventory field supplies for clients

• Manage sample storage and retrieval

Requirements:

• High School Diploma; desirable post-secondary education

• Prior experience in inventory management added value

• Effective communication for team collaboration

• Attention to detail and organized

• Must lift items up to 50lbs as required
