Student Co-op, Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Reporting:
  Extract, clean, and analyze purchasing and vendor data to track and identify cost-saving opportunities and generate actionable insights.
• Trend & Spend Analysis:
  Monitor indirect vendor spend patterns, market trends, and historical performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
• Supply Chain Segmentation Review:
  Assist in categorizing and segmenting indirect suppliers based on spend, criticality, risk, and operational impact.
• Dashboard Support:
  Build and update visual reports and dashboards (e.g., Excel, Power BI)

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical background with experience manipulating and interpreting data.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling); familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals, procurement concepts, or vendor management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize complex data into clear findings.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

The hourly rate for this position will be between $19.00 - $23.00 per hour (CAD). The posted range reflects the expected rate for this position. Actual rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience, as well as internal equity considerations.
