Support global operations as a Tariff and Customs Coordinator for Walters Group in Hamilton, ON. This position emphasizes logistics, customs documentation, and tariff classification.
In this pivotal role, you will ensure the compliant movement of goods globally, working closely with customs brokers and internal stakeholders. We are looking for driven individuals with a background in supply chain and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Classify products accurately for customs compliance
• Maintain up-to-date records and assist with customs valuation
• Coordinate customs questions with internal and external teams
• Review import/export documentation to ensure accuracy
• Identify potential for duty drawback and other customs programs
Requirements:
• Education in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Entry-level experience in customs, procurement, or logistics
• Familiarity with customs compliance and documentation
• Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
