40 hours per week, includes weekend shifts every other week
Compensation Range (includes salary, taxable apartment benefit & shift premium): $45,000 - $64,000
Overview
We are seeking a live-in Community Representative who is energetic, detail-oriented and hard-working. This role is maintenance focused (minor plumbing and electrical) with some elements of cleaning duties and office coverage. You will be a point of contact in the apartment building and will primarily complete work orders/repairs. The schedule for this position is a rotating one where the successful candidate will be working every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning/Maintenance
Ensure cleanliness of common areas & corridorsPrepare apartments for new residentsFacilitate work orders and perform minor maintenance in plumbing & electricalOther grounds maintenanceTenant Relations/Administrative
Address tenant concerns effectively and promptlyMaintain positive relations with tenantsShow vacant apartments to prospective residentsCollect and record incoming rentsServe legal documents as neededRent upcoming suites and complete required documentationSafety
Ensure resident safety and security at all timesRespond appropriately and professionally to emergenciesMaintain fire safety logs and winter logsGeneral
Follow an ‘on-call’ scheduleMaintain accurate stock control recordsOther duties as assigned by Manager
