What We’re Looking ForMillwright Journeyperson Ticket or Millwright Apprentice in Alberta (3rd or 4th year).
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in electrical and/or millwright maintenance, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Solid understanding of electrical systems, including PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Strong working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and commitment to regulatory compliance.
Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical equipment.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Team‑oriented with excellent communication skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.
Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S practices considered an asset.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑performance manufacturing environment.
What You’ll DoChampion Safety: Consistently follow all company safety policies and procedures, modeling safe practices for the entire team.
Equipment Reliability: Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to keep plant equipment and facilities in optimal working condition.
Rapid Troubleshooting: Diagnose, repair, and restore operation of electrical and mechanical systems with minimal downtime.
Efficient Execution: Complete assigned work orders accurately and on schedule, documenting tasks in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Collaborative Mindset: Work effectively both independently and within a cross‑functional team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues when challenges arise.
Analytical Approach: Apply strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills to resolve equipment issues and recommend long‑term solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Own daily 5S activities, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and actively contribute ideas to improve processes and equipment performance.
Proactive Engagement: When unexpected problems occur, take initiative to become part of the solution—identifying causes, proposing fixes, and driving implementation.
Accountability: Verify completed work with the Systems Coach and ensure all required documentation is accurate and up to date.
Training Commitment: Complete all assigned training modules on or before due dates, keeping certifications and knowledge current.
Flexibility: Perform additional maintenance or facility‑related tasks as assigned by the Head Coach to support overall plant performance.
