Join Stony Creek's St Francis Xavier Parish as a Housekeeper, specializing in both meal preparation and cleaning. This part-time position operates on a flexible schedule to meet parish needs.

As a Housekeeper for the Diocese of Hamilton, you will work roughly 24 hours a week, reporting to the Parish Priest. Key responsibilities include preparing dinners, grocery shopping, and performing seasonal cleaning tasks in various rectory areas. This role requires the ability to work independently while adhering to instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare dinner meals three times a week, including vegetarian options

• Conduct grocery shopping for meal preparations

• Maintain cleanliness by washing and storing dishes

• Deep clean rectory spaces and handle seasonal cleaning tasks

• Manage laundry duties for priests and seminarian

Requirements:

• Completion of high-school education or equivalent

• Well-developed culinary skills are essential

• Strong cleaning capabilities required

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Obtain Ontario Food Handler Certificate or provide current proof
