Evening Custodian

Position: Evening Custodian at McMaster University
Become an Evening Custodian at McMaster University's Housing and Conference Services department. You'll play a key role in maintaining clean and welcoming facilities during evening shifts from 2 pm to 10:30 pm.

This custodial position allows you to ensure a safe, sanitary environment for students and faculty at the Living and Health Academic Campus. Responsibilities include cleaning tasks, floor care, and supporting furniture movement for various events. You will also manage waste disposal, snow removal during winter, and uphold safety practices in all operational areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diverse cleaning tasks including vacuuming and surface disinfection

• Conduct floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing

• Assist with the setup and relocation of furniture

• Manage waste disposal and recycling initiatives

• Maintain cleanliness in guest accommodations when needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum six months of relevant custodial experience
