Position: AgeCare Maintenance Technician Role
Steer the maintenance efforts at Age Care as a Maintenance Technician where residents' comfort and safety come first. This role demands hands-on skills in mechanical systems and grounds upkeep.

In this position at Age Care, you will ensure the maintenance of community spaces is handled efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other staff members to support a positive living experience for all residents by upholding cleanliness and proper equipment function. Flexibility in daily tasks and strong communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct minor repairs in plumbing and carpentry

• Oversee daily grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks

• Coordinate inspections and manage subcontractor engagements

• Monitor and repair facility lighting systems

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance procedures

Requirements:

• General knowledge of electrical and plumbing requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication in English

• Hands-on experience in maintenance repair tasks

• Supervisory experience considered an asset

• Knowledge of boiler and furnace maintenance preferred
