Part-Time Maintenance

Position: Part-Time Maintenance Role
Become an integral part of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Hamilton as a part-time Maintenance Person. This role involves various responsibilities throughout the year, requiring flexibility in hours.

The position is approximately 10 hours per week, reporting directly to the Parish Priest. Your key tasks will include grounds management during warmer months, snow and ice control in winter, and regular inspections of safety systems. You will work with seasonal decorations, maintenance cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure the parish remains welcoming and well-kept.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut grass and maintain gardens during spring and summer

• Snow removal and salting of walkways in winter

• Conduct inspections of safety systems monthly

• Perform maintenance cleaning of the church weekly

• Set up rooms for events, including funerals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 3 years maintenance experience preferred

• Ability to work independently in all weather

• Familiarity with landscaping equipment

• Valid G Class Driver's license
