Job SummaryDo you take pride in keeping properties clean, safe, and looking their best? Clintar is seeking a reliable and hardworking Litter & Site Maintenance Technician to maintain the cleanliness of our commercial properties throughout Hamilton and Brantford
. This position involves independently operating a company truck while completing scheduled litter patrols, emptying waste receptacles, and ensuring sites remain clean, professional, and welcoming for our clients and their customers. - Drive a company vehicle to multiple commercial properties throughout Hamilton and Brantford following a scheduled route.
- Collect litter and debris from parking lots, sidewalks, landscaped areas, and other designated site areas.
- Empty and replace garbage bags in outdoor waste receptacles.
- Dispose of collected waste at designated disposal locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of client properties to Clintar's quality standards.
- Report damaged garbage receptacles, graffiti, vandalism, or other site concerns to management.
- Complete daily route sheets and maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients, tenants, and members of the public.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with additional property maintenance duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Clean and valid Ontario G Driver's Licence (required).
- Comfortable driving a company pickup truck throughout Hamilton and Brantford.
- Previous experience in property maintenance, landscaping, facilities maintenance, or outdoor labour is considered an asset.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality properties.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours as operational needs require.
