Position: Maintenance Person Wanted
Join Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Hamilton as a part-time Maintenance Person.

This role offers approximately 10 hours per week dedicated to maintaining the parish's environment year-round.

Your position entails diverse responsibilities, from groundskeeping and snow removal to conducting inspections of safety systems. Reporting to the Parish Priest, successful candidates will demonstrate seasonal adaptability and independence in their tasks, including general repairs and cleaning. Your work will ensure the parish community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain grounds and gardens during warmer months

• Manage snow and ice removal in winter months

• Regularly inspect lighting and fire alarm systems

• Oversee weekly building cleaning and maintenance

• Prepare spaces for parish events as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Preferred 3 years of maintenance experience

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather

• Proficient in landscaping equipment operation

• Steel-toed safety boots required
