Facilities Manager Ontario

Lead campus operations at Hillfield Strathallan College as Facilities Manager. Oversee maintenance, safety, and compliance while ensuring a welcoming educational environment.

This full-time, permanent role in Hamilton, Ontario, reports to the Director of Human Resources & Operations. You will leverage your extensive facilities management experience to manage maintenance teams, coordinate projects, and ensure regulatory compliance. Strong technical knowledge and leadership skills are essential for success in this hands-on position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily facility operations and maintenance tasks

• Manage cleaning, grounds, and security personnel

• Implement preventative maintenance programs effectively

• Coordinate facility improvement and capital project planning

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in facilities management or related field

• Minimum five years of supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

• Experience in budget management and contractor oversight

• Familiarity with maintenance management systems
