Maintenance Technician at Most Blessed Sacrament

Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Hamilton is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician for a part-time role. This position supports groundskeeping and facility upkeep, with flexible scheduling as needed.

With a commitment of around 10 hours per week, you will handle varied tasks throughout the seasons under the Parish Priest’s guidance. The role includes responsibilities for both indoor and outdoor maintenance, ensuring the church’s facilities remain safe and welcoming for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the church grounds with regular inspections

• Conduct snow removal and salting during winter months

• Oversee fire alarm tests and system checks

• Clean and prepare the church for services and events

• Manage boiler care and general repairs as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance

• Ability to work independently outdoors in varied weather

• Familiarity with maintenance equipment and safety

• Valid G Class Driver’s license
