- On-going implementation of customer service commitment
- Allocation of work
- Customer repair work
- Handling customer calls
- Monitoring both the quantity and qualify of work within the branch
- Ensuring safety standards are maintained
- New employee orientation
- Assist leadhands and technicians with managing machine overalls and large projects
- Act as a key technical resource for shop technicians
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
- Well-rounded experience as a Journeyperson Technician Completion, or in the process of completing, Finning S-Level courses
- Computer literate and possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, coupled with outstanding product knowledge
- Leadership skills and the willingness to contribute positively to a quality team environment
Important Details:
This is a position based out of Whitehorse, on a Monday - Friday (5x2) shift A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
Union Membership:
This is a unionized position. Union dues will be deducted from your pay upon hire. Terms of employment are governed by a collective agreement.
