Housekeeping Role Booth Centre

Join The Salvation Army as a Housekeeper and contribute to the cleanliness and safety of Hamilton Booth Centre. This full-time role operates from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm.

In this position, you help maintain essential standards of hygiene and cleanliness in various communal and residential spaces. Your contributions will support The Salvation Army’s mission of serving individuals in need. Skills in organization, communication, and independence are valued here.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, offices, and common areas

• Launder linens and other facility laundry as required

• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment

• Assist in furniture moving for events and meetings

• Participate in regular facility inspections

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 education

• At least three months of housekeeping experience

• General knowledge of cleaning protocols required

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs

• Adherence to health and safety regulations necessary
