Take on an impactful role as a District Supervisor in the City of Hamilton from November 2026 to April 2027. Lead essential road and sidewalk maintenance efforts while ensuring public safety and efficient operations.
In this supervisory position, you will oversee municipal staff and external contractors to manage winter control, road repairs, and compliance with maintenance standards. Your leadership will foster an effective working environment while addressing performance and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee snow removal, roadside aesthetics, and maintenance
• Ensure staff compliance with safety and operational standards
• Manage road repair activities and inspections effectively
• Coordinate with various city departments for operations
• Maintain accurate reporting on team performance
Requirements:
• Required OSSD or equivalent educational credentials
• Minimum three years in road maintenance or operations
• Supervisory experience in a relevant field
• Valid class “G” Driver’s Licence required
• Strong knowledge of road maintenance legislation
