As a Maintenance Supervisor at Nucor, you will be pivotal in ensuring both planned and unexpected maintenance tasks are conducted effectively. This role centers on providing leadership to a team of tradespeople, developing maintenance strategies, and fostering a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise maintenance activities and team operations
• Plan and prioritize maintenance activities effectively
• Develop and implement maintenance reliability programs
• Mentor and coach maintenance personnel to enhance skills
• Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Requirements:
• 6-10 years of industrial maintenance experience needed
• 5+ years of supervisory experience required
• Engineering degree or equivalent industrial certification necessary
• Experience in steel manufacturing or mining preferred
• Proven ability to enforce safety standards
