As the Maintenance Supervisor and Chief Engineer, you'll manage a team of multi-discipline tradesmen and operating engineers. You will oversee preventative and corrective maintenance ensuring compliance with safety standards. Your technical expertise will drive improvements to the Equipment Maintenance Program, interact with external authorities, and maintain sustainability practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Manage work orders in Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Oversee HVAC and medical gas systems operation
• Champion health and safety protocols within the team
• Provide technical expertise to guide operational priorities
Requirements:
• 2-3 year diploma in Power Engineering
• 2nd Class Engineer certification or greater
• Experience in HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
• Leadership experience in a unionized environment
