Long-Term Care Housekeeper

Housekeeping expertise supports Age Care residents through clean, sanitary spaces in a long-term care residence. Help maintain welcoming areas for residents, visitors, and staff.
The Housekeeper performs varied cleaning duties throughout Age Care’s long-term care residence. The work supports a safe, clean, sanitary, and person-centered environment for residents. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, while minimum public-school education is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, and lounges
Maintain activity areas, offices, hallways, and stairwells
Clean, mop, wax, and polish floors
Operate floor machines across designated residence areas
Disinfect sinks, toilets, urinals, and telephones daily
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping experience preferred
Minimum public-school education required
Ability to maintain safe, clean, sanitary conditions
Ability to dust furniture and equipment
Ability to arrange furniture orderly
