Maintain clean, welcoming YMCA spaces in Hamilton as a part-time Cleaner using vacuums, floor polishers, and chemical cleaning agents.
The YMCA of Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford seeks a Cleaner for Les Chater Family YMCA. You will complete housekeeping tasks across member, back-of-house, and exterior spaces while meeting YWay standards. The work supports member satisfaction through consistent facility cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete assigned cleaning tasks throughout member spaces
- Clean back-of-house and exterior areas as assigned
- Operate vacuums and floor polishers safely
- Remove garbage and support seasonal groundskeeping duties
- Meet or exceed Les Chater Family YMCA standards
- Comprehend and follow written safety instructions
- Bring one to three years cleaning experience, preferred
- Work independently and within a staff team
- Accept flexible days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Use good interpersonal skills; WHMIS certification is an asset
