General Manager - Machining

Our client, a successful manufacturer of complex machining components, is seeking an accomplished and hands-on General Manager to lead production operations while contributing to the strategic direction of the organization.

In this role, the General Manager will manage a small and experienced shop floor team as well as continue to ensure the Company’s outstanding record of on-time, high-quality delivery continues. Beyond maintaining excellence, the General Manager will champion continuous improvement initiatives, driving productivity and accountability across operations. A key part of this role's mandate will be developing both short and long-term operational strategies to support growth.

Experience in business development and the ability to present the Company’s capabilities to prospective customers will be considered a strong asset.

Our ideal candidate brings a proven track record in production management and leadership within Job Shop, batch run, and machining environment. They will be able to demonstrate expertise in labor planning, sourcing, continuous improvement, and equipment evolution initiatives.
