Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD

Are you a skilled 421A Mechanic looking for an exciting opportunity in the metal recycling industry? If you have experience and expertise in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and equipment, we have the perfect role for you!
What you’re responsible for:
Perform maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on a wide range of heavy machinery and equipment used in metal recycling operationsConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipmentTroubleshoot and identify issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsComplete repairs and replacements of faulty components, adhering to safety and quality standardsCollaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize repair tasks efficientlyMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and log work performedAdhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while conducting maintenance and repairsQualifications
To join our team:
Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician LicensePrevious experience as a 421A Mechanic
, preferably in a industrial settingSolid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsAbility to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematicsProficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issuesStrong commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulationsPhysical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and working in various weather conditions
