    • RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and lubrication on machines and equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Weld, repair, and fabricate equipment or machinery components
  • Assemble and install machinery using hand and power tools
  • Align and position machines and equipment using precision measuring tools
  • Connect, test, and evaluate the mechanical operation of production equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • Fabricate or dismantle parts, equipment, and machines using cutting torches or other tools
  • Move and position heavy machinery using hoists, rollers, and lift trucks
  • Build or repair machine foundations using appropriate tools and materials
  • Maintain inventory and organize storage of parts, tools, and equipment

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • 433A certificate is required
  • Completion of post-secondary program in Millwright is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience as a millwright in an industrial environment required
  • Proficient in welding, cutting, and fabricating metal components
  • Experienced with fluid and air-powered systems, including maintenance and repair
  • Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues
  • Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced industrial environments
  • Capable of assembling, aligning, and installing heavy machinery and equipment
