We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our Non Ferrous team for the afternoon shift Monday-Friday (2:30-11:00pm) in Hamilton, Ontario! This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be responsible for moving material through the facility while safely operating a forklift and other heavy equipment as needed.
What you're responsible for:
Operating a forklift and other heavy equipment to safely load and unload non ferrous materialTransporting materials to appropriate areas in the yardAssisting with yard/facility organization and inventory managementMaintaining a clean and organized work area, free of any lose materialFollowing all safety policies, procedures, and guidelinesQualifications
To join our team:
You have previous experience operating a forklift (asset)You have a minimum of 12 months experience as a labourerYou are comfortable working in a loud and dusty environmentYou are comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (mask, plugs, hard hat, glasses)You have basic computer skills and the ability to work in a team and on your own
